On May 26, a special evening dedicated to the legacy of the airship N1 Norge will take place at The Explorers Club in New York City.
Titled “N1 Norge and the Untold Story of Arctic Airship Exploration”, the event will bring together storytelling, research and visual experience in a single, curated moment. The program will feature a series of talks exploring lesser-known aspects of Arctic airship exploration, shedding light on narratives that extend beyond the well-documented milestones of the 1926 expedition.
Alongside the talks, the evening will include multimedia installations designed to immerse visitors in the technological and cultural context of early polar aviation. Through images, visual reconstructions and digital content, the installations aim to offer a layered perspective on the airship era and its significance.
The event is conceived as both a cultural gathering and an opportunity to revisit the history of exploration through contemporary formats, connecting archival knowledge with experiential design.
