As we approach the centenary of the legendary Norge expedition to the North Pole, the Norge Polar 100 initiative is proud to present the “99 Year” Online Conference, streaming live from the National History Museum of Sofia on May 12th, 2025 at 8PM EEST
Hosted exactly 99 years after the historic flight, the event will feature leading voices from the international committee, including Pier Paolo Alfei, Anders Bache, Max Pinucci, Nick Rogers, and Antonio Ventre.
Together, they will explore the historical, cultural, and technical legacy of the Amundsen-Ellsworth-Nobile mission aboard the airship Norge, and share ongoing work toward the global 100th anniversary celebrations in 2026.
